SALARY RANGE - $52,341 per year

Position Description

The purpose of this position is to provide court services for youth offenders and volunteers, separate from the adult court. This is accomplished by overseeing and coordinating the operations of the Teen Court Program. Other duties include direct liaison to the Interlocal cities, Teen Court Advisory Board, volunteers, program referral agencies and all participants including parents/guardians. The Coordinator will oversee docket schedules, noncompliance dockets, volunteers, and placement agencies. Additionally, this position provides back-up services for the Municipal Court staff and interacts with other City employees and citizens.  This position does not provide direction to other City employees.

The city offers vacation and sick leave, as well as ten paid holidays. Full time employees earn two weeks of vacation during their first year of employment and 10 hours of sick leave a month.



What We're Looking For

Teen Court Coordinator - Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is preferred. Two years related experience working directly with youth. Valid Texas Class C Driver's License.

Typical Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
