Court Administrator – The City of Oak Ridge North is accepting applications for a Court Administrator. The purpose of this position is to complete a variety of complex supervisory support tasks and bookkeeping functions for the court. Work involves preparing, processing, and reconciling a variety of documents and records; managing case flows and trials for the court; responding to requests and inquiries; supervising staff; processing and entering court information; processing payments, subpoenas; setting cases for trial; reconciling cash drawer; and responding to attorneys. Employee will be responsible for issuing arrest and capias warrants. Other duties include maintaining records and information. Reports to the City Secretary. Minimum qualifications are graduation from high school and 1 to 2 years of clerical experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must be able to use ten key, type 45 wpm. Court Clerk Certification preferred. The successful applicant will be required to attend annual Court Clerks Training School and receive Court Clerk Certification from the Texas Municipal Courts Education Center.
