 CLERK CERTIFICATION RENEWAL (AY2022)

The Texas Court Clerk’s Education Committee will extend emergency policies through the 2022 Academic year. All certification renewal hours (12 or 20 depending on certification level) may be achieved through virtual learning or in person training.

TCCA and TMCEC are preferred providers of education. However, hours achieved through other “approved providers” (see below) will be considered. Only hours from these providers will be reviewed. Hours outside of TCCA or TMCEC must be submitted through the TCCA website

Hours for Initial Certification:

Approval of the 40 hours required for initial certification will vary depending on circumstances and will be reviewed on a case by case basis—however, A “Virtual Live” New Clerks or Regional through TMCEC are required.

 *   NCSC (National Center for State Courts)
 *   ICM (Institute for Court Management)
 *   NACM (National Association for Court Managers)
 *   CACC (Coalition of American Court Collectors)
 *   TDLR (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation)
 *   TJCTC (Texas Justice Court Training Center)
 *   City Hall Essentials
 *   Strategic Government Resources
