Regional Education & Testing Applications |
Regional Directors and their assigned Education Chairs may submit an application to host an education event within their region following the guidelines below.
To start the approval process, complete and submit an Education Applications 60 days prior to the requested training date.
The Education Committee will request the required speaker agreements, bios and course materials upon receipt of the application. Speakers will have 10 days to submit these items to the committee.
Applications will be automatically denied if all requirements are not met 45 days prior to the requested event date. Please do not submit your application until all speakers and topics for your event have been secured. Incomplete applications will not be considered
Instructors MUST be approved for this type of credit (TMCEC trained faculty or facilitators). Other instructors with qualifications may be approved on an individual basis with submission of a biography and resume. Experience or certification in teaching is required.
After you Apply: You will receive a confirmation email of your application being sent. After review of your application by the Education Committee, you will receive an email notifying you of the committee's decision to approve your application. If approved, the TCCA Administrative Assistant will create the event for posting to the TCCA Website. The event draft will be sent to you for review prior to posting.
ON THE DAY OF TRAINING you must have a sign in sheet for each topic or session to ensure only registered attendees are given education credit. The sign in sheet serves as the tracking source for certificates issued. A form will be supplied for your convenience. The TCCA Administrative Assistant will create and post the certificates to the TCCA Website for you.

Prep Session Applications
Complete and submit the Prep Session Application 45 days prior to training date.
Regions wishing to host a Level I and/or Level II Prep Session will need to submit two separate applications.
Based on prep session attendee and facilitator feedback, the number of hours required to attend has increased so that participants have enough time to thoroughly cover all the materials.
The Level I Prep Session has increased from 4 hours to 5 hours. Session A will cover the first half of the study guide for 2.5 hours. Session B will cover the second half of the study guide for 2.5 hours. Attendees may attend both sessions. The Level II Prep Session has increased from 4 hours to 6 hours. Session A will cover sections 1 - 3 for 2 hours. Session B will cover sections 4 - 6 for 2 hours. Session C will cover sections 7 - 9 for 2 hours. Attendees may attend one, two or all sessions. You may choose to host the prep session in person or virtually. Regions are responsible for consulting with the prep session facilitator when determining the number of virtual attendees allowed at each virtual event. Regions are required to follow the Virtual Live Training Policy when hosting a virtual event.

Exam Application

Any off site testing must be sponsored by a local region with a minimum of 15 participants. The Regional Director or Education Chair is responsible for submitting the Exam Application 90 days prior to the testing date.
Test proctors will be assigned by the Education Committee.
