TCCA News Update

    Ladies and Gentlemen,

    Renewal deadline is quickly approaching!  The deadline is August 31, 2021 and there are many who have not perfected renewal as of yet.  I  know some of you are waiting for the 6 hours from Legislative Update, but I just want to remind you of the process.

    EMERGENCY DECLARATION RULES:

    Level 1 and Level 2 12 hours  (can be done virtual or virtual live)

    Level 3  20 hours (12 can be virtual, 8 must be live or “virtual live”)

    TMCEC regionals and other “virtual live” sessions will go into “automatic renewal process”

    HOWEVER....

    TCCA “virtual live”, TMCEC webinars or other approved hours from other providers count toward renewal BUT DO NOT go into automatic processing so... a RENEWAL APPLICATION is required.

    This form can be found on certification page of TMCEC:

    https://www.tmcec.com/clerk-certification/annual_renewals/

    https://www.tmcec.com/files/8416/0686/2233/Renewal_Application_AY21.pdf

    If you  have any questions please contact Pat Riffel, CMCC at priffel@friendswood.com

    GOOD LUCK!!!

    Sincerely;

    Pat Riffel, CMCC, CPM
