| Certification Program Training provided for court personnel seeking certification and maintaining certification is largely provided by the Texas Municipal Courts Education Center (TMCEC). This training is subsidized by grant funds from the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals using court costs collected for the Judicial Court Personnel Training Fund. Texas Municipal Courts Education Center (TMCEC) entered into a more specific and clarified partnership agreement with Texas Court Clerks Association (TCCA) to allow for a more streamlined management of the program in accordance with the restrictions of this grant funding. Beginning with the academic year 2024 - 2025, you will notice a few changes is the roles and responsibilities of both TMCEC and TCCA. Click here for more details. The program is comprised of three levels. Participants may achieve certification upon successful completion of each of the three levels: Level I (CCCI) Level II (CCC II) Level III (CMCC) |
